As the head of our research group professor Effelsberg coordinates our
RTP/I efforts. His research interests are multimedia systems, media content
analysis and application layer protocols for high-speed networks.
My primary interest is the overall RTP/I protocol- and architecture design.
You can contact me
for general RTP/I questions and protocol related issues. Currently I'm
integrating RTP/I into my Ph.D. project - a 3D telecooperation application
called TeCo3D.
In the context of my Ph.D. project Educational
Multimedia Library I'm developing a generic recording service for RTP/I
based applications. Within this work I'm concerned with the architecture
and design of RTP/I . You can contact me
if you are curious about RTP/I and the recording service or if you have
any related questions.
My primary interest within the scope of RTP/I are protocol design and applying
RTP/I to remote controlled Java animations for teleteaching. You can contact
me
if you are interested in these topics.
I have done my master's theses in the context of RTP/I. Its title is: "A
Generic Late-Join Algorithm for Interactive Media". In the scope of this
work I developed a generic late join for RTP/I. Currently I am working
on my Ph.D project the design and development of the multimedia lecture
board (mlb). The mlb is a tool for giving presentations in a distributed,
synchronous and collaborative environment. The mlb will use RTP/I as application
level protocol. Contact me
if you have questions regarding these topics.
