The most important objectives of the project are:
Design and implementation of a position-based multicast routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks.
Design and implementation of an appropriate overload control mechanism.
Contribution of both components to the standardization process of the IETF (MANET working group).
Supply and experimental application of an universally usable library which contains an open implementation (OPGL) of both elements.
