The Question Manager Software
consists of three components:
- Question Manager Client
- Question Manager Server
- Question Manager Lecturer
The Question Manager Client software runs on the PDAs of the students and offers a simple user interface to announce a question and afterwards decide whether the answer is all right as expected or not understood completely.
The Question Manager Server receives the clients' announcements as well as the position coordinates and informs the director module as well as the Question Manager Lecturer. Of course, it can filter announcements to disable the students interrupting the lecturer permanently.
When the Question Manager Lecturer receives an announcement, its window pops up to inform the human lecturer that there is a question. Now the human lecturer can decide giving the floor to the student, deferring the question for a minute or denying the question completely by clicking on the according button.
