The last entry of the menu allows to start a demonstration mode which guides the user through this complex protocol. Why don't you give it a try and activate the Demo mode!
Note that a sign appears in the legend which tells you that the Demonstartion is running. During the demonstration you are guided by windows which pop up from time to time and explain the current state of the animation. Just read the explanations in the Demo window and then press the okay button.
