Their are three levels of simulation speed available (slow, medium and fast). You can change the speed anytime and medium speed is a good starting point. If a point of high interest is reached during the animation its a good idea to reduce the speed to low in order to have more time. Furthermore the animation can be suspended and resumed via the buttons pause and continue in the button panel.
